Youth housing instability has been fueled in our region by historical issues of racial discrimination and inequality, limited accessibility to transportation and affordable housing, and systemic issues of poverty and affordability.
The housing, education, employment, and socio-emotional needs of these youth are unique and diverse, but consistently youth report their highest needs as access to living wages, access to safe & affordable housing, and a strong sense of community.
